Ms. Lenart, Our Teacher
Room 29 is pretty awesome! We have a wonderful group of students and an even cooler teacher, Ms. Lenart.
Before teaching our class, Ms. Lenart taught a number of other grades and classes in the YCDSB. Before that, she spent a year travelling and teaching in Melbourne, Australia. She completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Sociology at The University of Western Ontario and her Bachelor of Education in Primary/Junior at the University of Ottawa. Upon graduation, Christina has completed AQ courses in Special Education and Religious Education and an ABQ in Intermediate education. Christina is currently completing a Masters of Education degree in Curriculum, Teaching and Learning at U of T's OISE. She absolutely LOVES our grade 8 Pace class and couldn't be happier with her wonderful group of students.

The Students of Room 29
The students of Room 29 are the reason that every day is an adventure! Each and every member of our class has their own unique sets of talents and abilities, which they use to contribute to our daily class activities.
The image to the left is our Grade 8P yearbook page for 2013. Our very talented 8P students were responsible for the design, creation and editing of the page. Big shout out to Clay, our resident photoshop wizard, for pulling the final product together in such a beautiful way. To all the other students who spent time drawing and colouring the bodies of our Seussical characters, thank you all for your efforts and dedication.
We chose to title our page, "Oh, the Places We'll Go", as our students are graduating this year and all have very bright and colourful futures ahead of them. Ms. Lenart is illustrated as 'The Mayor of Whoville' and, for everyone else, our students collaborated with one another to choose a Dr. Seuss character who best represented their unique personalities.
